Synopsis
Penny’s Pink Moon follows eight-year-old Penny Page, who has felt invisible in her own home since her mother died two years ago. Her dad disappears into work, her older sister Poppy tries to hold the household together, and no one talks about the loss that still hangs over them.
When Penny discovers a hidden trunk in the attic filled with her mother’s belongings, she finds a glittery pink journal, a note from her mom meant for Penny, and a mysterious circular chart her mom called a compass meant to guide her through life.
Determined to decode the message her mother left behind, Penny begins following clues across New York City. Her search leads her to a Chinatown astrologer known as the Marvelous Mystic Mave, who helps Penny begin to understand the chart—and the signs her mom promised she would one day recognize.
But when Penny’s father starts dating someone new, Penny fears her family may be moving on without her mom. If she can’t uncover the meaning behind the chart, the distance growing inside their home may never close.
What she discovers might change the way she sees her family—and her mom—forever.

Currently Seeking Literary Representation
I’m seeking literary representation for middle grade fiction that blends emotional depth with imaginative storytelling. My work explores themes of grief, intuition, and the quiet magic that can live in everyday moments.

Penny’s Pink Moon is the first story in a larger creative vision. I’m also developing an upper middle grade portal fantasy, The Kingdom of Arcanium, which imagines what tarot might look like if it were a real place children could enter.

My goal is to write books that help children feel seen, spark curiosity, and offer comfort through story.
If you’re an agent who connects with heartfelt middle grade stories with a touch of magic, I’d love to hear from you.
